The Photo: The technique used emphasizes frontal
lighting with a "dressing" of the coins surface's. Reflected white light
is employed to enhance the near perfection of these rare metals. These
coins measured 1.45 inches and are made up of pure silver and 18k gold.
Equipment Used: These two 4X5 images were photographed
on Fuji Provia 111 f film at 100 ASA. The lens used was a Sinaron APO
240 mm f 5.6 on a Sinar P-2 4X5 camera with approximately 40 inches of
billows. A Broncolor Pulso 2 1600 strobe power pack was utilized with
one strobe head. |
